Our artisan loaves are hand-crafted and naturally leavened using a sourdough starter. We use no commercial yeasts. The driving force behind most of the loaves is New York State grown Rye. These are nutritious loaves utilizing 100% organic, regional flours.

The form can be filled out Sunday through Wednesday to order bread for weekend pickups. Please note picking up on Sundays will happen on an every-other-week basis in Pine Hill via the Phoenicia Farmer’s Market.

SOURDOUGH BREAD

  • COUNTRY RYE

    A classic sourdough with 19% NY State grown dark rye. This loaf is perfect with butter, olive oil, or served warm straight from the oven. A versatile, everyday bread.

  • KAMUT + SESAME

    Also known as Khorosan, Kamut is an ancient grain that has a lighter color and mild nuttiness. It has become an absolute favorite. Finished here with a sesame seed crust.

  • SEEDED WHOLE GRAIN

    This whole grain loaf (spelt, fife, rye) contains caraway, coriander, sesame, fennel and flax seeds. You bring the pastrami, we’ve got the bread!

  • Einkorn Loaf

    EINKORN

    Einkorn, the oldest cultivated wheat in the world, is a simple grain that is easy to digest. This nutritious loaf has a fantastic texture and flavor thanks to the whole grain Farmer Ground Einkorn flour.

  • WHOLE WHEAT SPELT

    Spelt is an ancient grain that is slightly softer than what we are used to today. Excellent for toast, sandwiches or your favorite cheese and honey. A hardy, nutritious loaf.

  • ALE BREAD

    Sometimes, when she’s not looking, a few bottles of Erica’s Brown Ale go missing… A whole grain loaf with Spelt, Rye, and the delicious FIFO (brown ale).


  • Pain de Mie

    From the French “bread of crumb,” this milk bread contains Spelt and Malted Barley and is baked in a Pullman Pan. Your griddle awaits!

  • Fresh Baguette

    Our baguettes are made with a blend of Wheat, Khorosahn and Einkorn. Perfect for a sandwich, to go along with cheese or simply tear into warm out of the oven!

  • FIG + WALNUT

    A holiday favorite available during the colder seasons, this delicious boule is packed with dried figs and walnuts. Toast it, add honey, enjoy!

  • EINKORN MICHE

    This large Miche has a wonderful flavor from the whole wheat Einkorn as well as whole Rye. The perfect loaf to set center table at any feast!

  • FOCACCIA

    FOCACCIA

    This Italian Olive-oil bread excels in warmer months and is best enjoyed with the bounty of the spring and summer seasons. We love it for making sandwiches to enjoy on a hike.
